In 2025, Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) in Syria continued to accompany individuals, families, and communities through a period of fragile recovery, uncertainty, and ongoing humanitarian needs.

The JRS Syria Annual Report 2025 presents the impact of JRS Syria’s work across three main programmes: holistic education, SEHHA healthcare services in eastern Aleppo, and community building and social cohesion activities in Homs, Aleppo, Jaramana, and Al-Kafroun.

Through its education programme, JRS Syria supported children to remain connected to learning through safe, child-friendly spaces, non-formal education, psychosocial support, learning materials, and family engagement.

Through the SEHHA healthcare programme, JRS helped communities in eastern Aleppo access affordable and reliable primary healthcare, medication support, referrals, psychosocial support, and health education.

Through the Community Building and Social Cohesion programme, JRS strengthened psychosocial well-being, participation, dialogue, and everyday community life, helping people reconnect, rebuild trust, and strengthen resilience.

In 2025, JRS Syria supported 3,611 children through education, provided 32,069 medical consultations, reached 6,903 people through group psychosocial support, and engaged 3,483 participants in community activities.
