A Filipino migrant mother living in Lebanon, she carries the full responsibility of caring for and supporting her children. Like many migrant women, she faces long working hours, financial pressure, and limited access to social protection.

Her situation became especially critical when her legal documents were confiscated, placing her at heightened risk and leaving her in constant fear of detention, exploitation, and instability. Without valid documentation, her access to protection, services, and basic rights was severely restricted.

Through JRS protection services, she received legal guidance, case management support, and psychosocial accompaniment. With this holistic support, she was able to better understand her rights, navigate available legal pathways, and take steps toward restoring her security.

Today, she continues to work hard to provide for her family with greater confidence and a renewed sense of stability. Her journey highlights the importance of integrated protection and psychosocial support in restoring dignity, reducing vulnerability, and enabling migrant women to build safer and more secure futures for themselves and their children.
